The Story of I-know the Armadillo

Hugo was a very curious Armadillo

He was always asking his mother questions, who lives there, where is this, how does this work, what is this?

Hugo the curious Armadillo asked questions all day long, at home and at school.

He loves every minute at school and is always the first to stick his hand up in class and say -

I know the answer.....

Hugo did this so often his friends and teachers began to call him by a new name........

He new nickname became "I-know"

One day I-know the Armadillo and his mother decided to set off on an adventure and visit as many people and places as they could so that I-know would learn as many interesting facts as possible to share with his friends and family.

We are looking for your help

Can you take I-know with you on holiday, on day trips to a museum, anywhere you think he can learn interesting facts.

We are looking for a photo of I-know the Armadillo with a fact about where he is etc

Don't have your own I-know the Armadillo - don't worry you can buy one from us.

I-know would also like to hear from his Lanka Kade animal friends so if you have a favourite wooden animal why not bring it with you on your adventures and find out facts to share with us.

Where has I-know been so far?

Beamish Museum

Here you can learn about the history of the North East from the 1820's through to the 1950's. There’s a pit village, towns, farms, shops and houses and lots of great old trams, trains and buses to ride on too.

Temple Newsome in Leeds

Temple Newsam Farm has many rare breed cows, goats, sheep and pigs.

Temple Newsan House has been siezed twice by Royalty, firstly by Henry the 8th and secondly by Queen Elizabeth 1st

Leeds Grand Theatre

I-know went to Leeds Grand Theatre to see Beauty and the Beast by the Northern Ballet. You can see Ballet, Opera, Comedians, West End shows, singers, bands and much more at Leeds Grand Theatre. If you like a Pantomine though it’s better at The Carriageworks or City Varieties.
